Auratik is a hobby project run by one person in California. This page explains, in plain English, what Auratik stores about you, who can see it, and how to delete it. Questions go to hello@auratik.com.
What we store
- Your account: your email address, your username, and a password. Your password is handled by our login provider (Supabase) and stored only in scrambled form. We never see it.
- Your tickets: the shows you log, with anything you add to them: ratings, reviews, favorite songs, setlists, and the names of friends you went with.
- Your photos and videos: pictures you upload of your stubs, posters or wristbands, photos and short videos you share to a show’s gallery, and your profile picture if you add one. For gallery photos and videos we also keep the votes and reports people give them.
- Your friends, friend requests, and your notifications.
- Invite requests: if you ask for a beta invite, the email address and the optional note you give. They’re used only to send you an invite. To have yours deleted, email us.
We don’t use analytics, advertising trackers, or tracking cookies. We don’t sell or rent your information to anyone, and we don’t share it for advertising.
Auratik’s pages and emails contain no tracking pixels (also called web beacons), no session-recording tools, and no other code that watches what you do or passes it to another company. Our emails don’t track whether you open them or which links you click. “On this day” emails show a picture of your ticket stub, loaded from auratik.com; we don’t record when it’s loaded.
Who can see it
- Your username, profile picture, rank, and your collection’s totals (how many acts, tickets, artists, venues and years) are visible to anyone signed in to Auratik.
- Your full collection (your tickets, ratings, reviews, favorite songs, and who you went with) is visible only to your friends. Becoming friends takes your approval: someone sends a request, and you accept or decline it.
- Photos of your own ticket stub, poster or wristband are stored privately. They’re shown only to you and your friends, through a link that stops working after an hour. Your profile picture and anything you share to a show’s gallery are stored at a public web address: anyone who has that link can view them.
- Photos and videos you share to a show’s gallery are visible to everyone signed in who logged that show, with your username. Any of them can choose one of the photos as the art on their own ticket for that show. Photos on your own ticket stay private to you and your friends unless you share them to the gallery.
- Your email address is never shown to other people. The person running Auratik can see it, to help manage accounts.
The shared concert catalog
When you log a show, the show itself (artist, venue, date, the rest of the bill) and its setlist are saved to Auratik’s shared catalog, so the next person who was there can find it. The catalog isn’t linked to you publicly, and it stays if you delete your account. Your ratings, reviews and other personal notes are not part of it.
Services we rely on
- Supabase runs our database, logins, photo storage, and sends account emails (confirmation and password reset). Resend sends our other emails: beta invites, and reminder emails (the morning after a show you logged, and shows from the same day in past years). Reminder emails are on when you join; turn them off in Settings or with the link in any of them. We don’t send marketing email.
- Anthropic automatically checks each photo or video you share to a show’s gallery for inappropriate content before it goes up. Only the photo, or a few still frames from the video, is sent, not your account details.
- Vercel hosts the website. Like any web host, it sees basic request information such as IP addresses.
- To find shows, setlists, artwork and map locations, our servers send search terms (like an artist, venue or date) to setlist.fm, Ticketmaster, the Internet Archive, Apple’s iTunes search, and OpenStreetMap. These requests come from our servers, not your browser, and don’t include your account details.
- Some images load in your browser straight from the service that hosts them: album art from Apple, event images from Ticketmaster, and the map’s background from Esri. Like any website you load something from, they see basic request information such as your IP address. We don’t send them your account details.
Cookies
We use only the cookies Auratik needs to work: one that keeps you signed in, and, during our pre-launch period, one that remembers you have early access.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. This permanently removes your account, your tickets, your photos, your friends and friend requests, and your notifications. Shows and setlists you added to the shared catalog stay, no longer linked to you. Copies may remain in our providers’ backups for a short time before they expire.
Your choices
Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you. Most of it you can change yourself in the app. For anything else, email hello@auratik.com.
Children
Auratik is not for anyone under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has made an account, email us and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If we change this page in a way that matters, we’ll update the date at the top and, for big changes, let you know in the app. See also our Terms.
